I often go for the crunchy skin but this time, I enjoyed the tasty meat of this delicious organic lechon. Hecky’s Lechon (roasted pig).

I haven’t slept, haven’t eaten. I’ve just finished research, checked scripts and finally done with my voice over for the travel show “I Love Pinas.” It was finally time to eat.

I went to Eastwood City, the mall along C5 Road in Quezon City. It was my first time to enter one of their buildings called “Cyber and Fashion Mall.” At the third floor Hecky’s Lechon caught my attention. I tried to look away but couldn’t.

It was lechon. But I’m trying to be healthy. Then I saw what I needed to see to have enough reason to go there. The sign said “Cebu Style Lechon, Oven Baked Less Fast, Organic. It’s the Healthier Choice!”

Okay then. Since…

Celebrating Filipino Food

A little break from just business I wanna talk about my love for food.

I watch almost all cooking shows on cable tv, from Masterchef, Top Chef to Rocco’s Dinner Party. I feel proud of all the Filipino contestants who feature Filipino culture in the food they cook.

Right now I’m watching Rocco’s Dinner Party and in the elimination round “King” the Filipino contestant cooked the Pancit Bihon. This thin noodle dish occupies dinner tables during birthdays and fiestas. This also sells for as low as P15.00 in fast food restaurants.

Rocco obviously liked the taste when he said:

There are many nice flavors in here…

He however indicated that he would have wanted the scallops on the plate, but just as it was “King” made it to the Dinner party.

Rocco’s Diners wil also get a taste of the buko pandan, “coconut lemon grass panna cota”.

Kain na!!!(Let’s Eat)

Please fill in “King’s” last name coz I didn’t catch it.

Payoneer-ing For Non-US Net Earners

I just got my Payoneer Prepaid

Mastercard card in the mail!

One would think that the Internet is

borderless, it does not distinguish

between states, nationalities and

territories. When Paypal was born the

possibility of secured online transactions

also became available for non-US

resident marketeers/ workers.

Still there were online opportunities that

were exclusive to those who have US

checking accounts. Sure, there were

so many opportunities, but there really

are instances that the one you really

want is out of reach just because of a

technicality.

One example is Jebbit which uses

WePay. I like Jebbit for it’s smart

interface in it’s Paid to Read Ads. It

made reading ads fun with pop up

cheer ons, like Bazinga! ,when you

answer the questions correctly. I just

could let WePay’s requirement hinder

me from enjoying while working and

getting my earnings.

Payoneer was the answer to my

prayers. Free sign up to your own

Prepaid Mastercard(r) card which also

provides you with a US Payment Service.

Payoneer just demolished another

wall in for online income.
